Brass

For years I'd been grabbing coat hangers out of people's closets, crossing them against each other, and jokingly proclaiming "the Beast lives among your cardigans!" or something to that effect. You've got to admit that the resultant form of two crossed coat hangers does look like a goat's head, which is a frequently-used symbol in Satanic cults, and also it's evocative of an inverted five-point star. PLEASE NOTE, I AM NOT A SATANIST—I just think it's funny. So I finally took two particularly well-suited brass coat hangers and lashed them together with brass wire to come up with das Göathänger.
